This Position will be responsible to implement key Supply Chain projects, achieve Material cost savings and other key supply chain performance metric improvements in order to meet the sites Annual Operating Plan. Collaborate and engage with cross-functional teams such as Commercial operations, Global Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing to drive successful implementation of these projects. Provide supply chain support for R&D and new product development projects. Manage monthly reporting of Supply Chain Performance metrics such as Spend, Savings, Low Cost Sourcing, OTD and Quality. Drive and implement improvements within the site purchasing and supply chain function through continuous improvement processes. Support purchasing team with RFQs (Request for Quotes) and other purchasing activities periodically during peak load times.
Implement and lead key Supply Chain projects to meet all material savings objectives
Provide Supply Chain Support for product R&D projects
Manage Supply Chain reporting
Support Annual Operations Plan and Budget process
Coordinate Supply Chain aspects of first article sample process
Manage other Supply Chain projects as required
Carry out purchasing related activities periodically to support the extended supply chain team.
Ability to interface with the Corporate Supply Chain organization
Ability to influence others
Ability to work with worldwide team members on multi-site projects and issues
Basic ability to interpret technical drawings and standards with the ability to clearly communicate these requirements
Ability to coordinate technical and commercial decisions with support from the Engineering and Supply Chain teams.
Experience with an ERP system with Oracle experience a plus
APICS, CPIM or CSCP certification would be an asset
4 year degree required in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field
1.5+ years Supply Chain experience and/or Project Management experience
15 - 20% travel including international
Detail oriented with strong analytical and project management skills
Excellent organization, communication, negotiation and prioritization skill
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
