Position Description:

Principal Accountabilities:

As a direct report to the Manager, Technical Accounting Projects, the Revenue Recognition Contract Analysis System Administrator is responsible for maintaining, updating and providing support to corporate and platform finance for the revenue recognition contract analysis database (“Policy IQ”) which is used to analyze contracts to determine the appropriate revenue recognition accounting in accordance with ASC 606 – Revenue from contracts with customers. Specific responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Set up and maintain security for users, groups, and roles in PolicyIQ

• Track and investigate issues with PolicyIQ including working to resolve issues with assistance from PolicyIQ’s 3rd party technical support team

• Manage complex requirements and implement system enhancements initiated by corporate and platform finance

• Support user questions and troubleshoot user issues

• Partner with the Accounting Policies and Practices team to update the system for any changes in the Revenue Policy

• Process system changes in an efficient and effective manner

• Update the PolicyIQ user guide when process changes occur in the system

• Maintain SOX 404 documentation for changes to user access

• Perform periodic reviews to ensure pages are correctly linked and correct approval workflows are selected

• Support corporate and platform finance with process improvement initiatives in order to further streamline the contract review process

Position Requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree in business information systems, accounting or finance

• 3+ years of experience working in corporate finance or with corporate finance clients

• Experience working on a system implementation or serving as the administrator of a system

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

• Experience in a database management system such as Microsoft Access, including importing and exporting data

• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to apply judgement and operate effectively in a decentralized, unstructured and dynamic environment

• Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to package and present complex information in an effective and efficient manner

• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in high-pressure, time-constrained situations

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment, and to make well-reasoned and timely decisions

• Knowledge of ASC 606 – Revenue from contracts with customers is preferred
