Position Description:

Basic Function:

The Product Manager, FCO China will oversee and direct FCO China control valve product line for all Product

Management activities and associated market approaches in local market. In doing so, he/she will:

  • Define Control valve product portfolio, roadmap and go to market strategies to drive increased profitability within target markets

  • Conduct market research to understand market demand/trend and define the product requirements

  • Take the ownership of the products during the product development process, partner with stakeholders to execute and implement the investments to achieve the intended payback

  • Develop commercial and business models at market launch and sales activities to support growth targets

  • Be partner with appropriate business stakeholders like Supply Chain, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Sales, Engineering and Operation Responsibilities: ·Defining realistic year-over-year growth targets in total revenue, gross margin, and market share for control valve product line

  • Be an expert of control valve on application, market positioning, customer preferences

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap, translating and commercializing into tactical new product development

  • Managing the entire control valve product line life cycle

  • Specify market requirements, understand market demand/trend and create new business opportunities

  • Develop and drive a solution through cross functional team including global and local Engineering, supply chain, sales, operation etc.

  • Contribute to the Global Product Management strategy and local deployment, support global product rationalization and localization projects

  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategy, deploy and execute in China market.

  • Provide customer, sales and commercial operation team with technical support on new and existing products

  • Share consolidated local China market trends/needs with Global Product Management teams

  • Share global and local references and success stories with key stake holders

  • Share sales, commercial operation team and other key stake holders on application and market trend

  • Develop and support local and global sales tools and collaterals- for instance, sales sheet, product description, launch materials, white paper and website content

  • Conduct competitive analysis and benchmark of control valve product

Position Requirements:

Education and Experience:

A high energy individual that can drive the business to exceed profitability and growth goals with:

· A minimum of 3 years engineering/technical experience in Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical, or General Industries specifically in the local China market

  • A minimum of 3 years product marketing/management or sales experience of industrial products

· A Bachelor degree on business or engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing or Electrical), MBA and/or Advanced Engineering degree is a plus

· Strong decision-making and problem solving skills

· Excellent communication skills

· Project Management Experience

· Chinese and English bilingual strongly preferred

· 25-50% Travel required

Preferences:

A Bachelor degree on business or engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing or Electrical), MBA and/or Advanced Engineering degree is a plus.
